THE ORGAN IN THE ALBERT HALL, NOTTINGHAM

The organ was built in the Albert Hall Methodist Mission by J.J. Binns in 1909. It was a gift to the City of Nottingham by Sir Jesse Boot;
the walnut casework was made by Boots' shopfitters.
The Hall has been completely renovated as a conference centre, with a new floor inserted at gallery level.
A full restoration of the organ by Harrison & Harrison was completed in 1993. The restoration was inspired and financed by
 the "Binns Organ Company", a local group formed for that purpose.
No alterations have been made, and the Binns pneumatic actions have been retained in their entirety.
